Early diagnosis of kidney cancer
Background
Our client, a 54 year old Finance Director, booked his first Preventicum assessment, feeling in good health.
Clinical findings
During their abdominal ultrasound scans, our Sonographer identified a suspicious kidney lesion which was also observed during their MRI scans.
Next steps
Our client's Preventicum Doctor referred them to a Consultant Urologist for further investigation where a malignant kidney tumour was diagnosed. Surgery was successful in removing the tumour and thanks to the very early detection, no further treatment was required. Our client is thankful to the Preventicum team for their role in the successful diagnosis and has scheduled their next annual assessment.
