Our client returned to Preventicum for his second health assessment, reporting shortness of breath as well as ear and jaw pain.

During their exercise stress echocardiogram, our Cardiac Physiologists observed myocardial ischemia, indicating that their heart was not receiving enough oxygen during exertion. A same-day referral was made to a Consultant Cardiologist and an urgent coronary angiography was promptly arranged.

Following specialist consultations, our client underwent a quadruple coronary artery bypass. We are delighted to hear they made an excellent recovery from their surgery and soon returned to regular exercise, actively optimising their heart health.
