Your Preventicum Doctor may discuss the benefits of referring you to Miss Joanna Franks, Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon, for detailed breastscreening. Miss Franks’ expertise lies in the assessment and management of benign and malignant breast conditions as she works to detect early breast cancers and perform breast cancer screening.

During your consultation, you will discuss your personal and family history and any symptoms you have been experiencing. Our breast assessment is recommended for women aged 40 and over who do not have personal or family risk factors for breastcancer. Women with identified risk factors may benefit for earlier screening and your Preventicum Doctor will discuss this with you. Miss Franks will then recommend the most clinically appropriate imaging, either mammography or digital ultrasound.
